How do you feel about fighting Jeremy
Horn, and how did the match come about? Was it a match you pushed for
to avenge your loss to Jeremy?
Chuck Liddell - It was
known that I wanted to avenge my loss and Dana asked if I would fight
him in August. I said yes, and it was that simple. I'm excited about
it, this should be a great fight for the fans and it's my chance to
avenge my first loss.

Ever wonder about a fighter’s game plan heading into a fight
– not the lip service media stuff, but his real game plan? What about
the final words of advice or encouragement behind closed doors before
the fighter heads to the ring or Octagon?
Neither fighters nor trainers talk much about their strategy or game
plan heading into a fight. Sure, toss the media a bone with some
obvious generalities. But it doesn’t make sense for a fighter to tip
his hand prior to the fight. So, they often keep their cards close to
the vest until the fight is over.

The Pride Grand Prix is just
a couple of weeks away and for Chuck Liddell, it's the biggest fight of
his career thus far. Liddell has never had back to back losses in his
career. His last lost before Randy Couture was a couple of years ago against
Jeremy Horn. After Horn he went on a rampage beating some of the best
fighters in the world. Liddell wants to fight the best and while some
people felt Liddell should take a tune up fight, he said "no"
and fights the best in world at the Pride Grand Prix. Chuck Liddell is
this week's Interview of the Week.
