Hi I am a fan from England,I know I dont have the right to comment on your fight with what you have accomplished, I feel you fought really well and I wanted you to make a come back, I still think you have what it takes if it means anything, if you watch the fight back which I am sure you will, you will see in your last five fights, you have left yourself very susceptible to the over hand counter, all the fighters you have fought since rampage figured this out due to your stance and style. You have also slowed down slightly and began to focus more on, one or two shot power punches. I still believe you can compete and beat the top fighters, more needs to be done on dealing with the overhand, speed, explosive combinations and agility, which I am sure you can do. Please watch the last few fights again, and you will see I have a point, as you opponents have begun to time you coming in, especially in the shogun fight and franklin fight they hit you with the overhand a few times. You can use this as a benefit because if you fight again you will know the strategy and be able to counter it. Again sorry for making a comment and I mean no disrespect, hope you recover and come back strong -

Chuck you are truly an inspiration. You looked amazing and gave us a truly exciting fight, regardless of the outcome. I'm 43 and Bro you make me wanna work out and get back in shape. Even if you retire Chuck, keep up the new routine...it makes for a happier and healthier life. You have your kids and one day grandkids to stay healthy for. Regardless of what we out here in 'fan-land' tell you, follow your own path and don't let ANYONE tell You what to do. Loved the book, Love you too....God Bless You. -

Hey Chuck,
I'm an old fighter and have followed your carrer starting with some of your first fights(I think it was IVC 6). I never made it up the ladder as far as you have (as a matter of fact I never made it out of the wharehouses). Anyway I got the oppertunity to meet you at Universail studios a few months ago when I cornered you by the bathrooms. I just wanted to thank you for letting take a photo with you.
I also wanted to thank you for all the great fights you have given us and all the help you have given the sport bringing it main stream so guys will never have to fight in wearhouses again. I don't know what your going to do now but what ever it is you have my full support(even if its fighting the door knob one more time to shut him up).
Be good to yourself,
Bill -

Chuck,
I've been watching UFC for about 10 years. You were on the card for the first event I watched at home. Since then you have always been my favorite fighter. You have accomplished so much for the sport, yourself, and your fans. I think that you will hold the title as the best Light Heavyweight of all time in a lot of peoples' minds. Whatever your path is now i wish you the best of luck and thank you for an awesome 12 year run. -

I thought you fought great and looked great sat night, just got caught. The change in lifestyle really showed and you looked like the old chuck. Remember you will always be the best and if you are retiring it is a great loss to your fans. Thank you for all the great fights during your career -

John Hackleman and the rest of Chucks team should be fired. Chuck, Hack created fundamental holes in your boxing defense. His over reliance on creating punching power overshadowed his ability to teach basic hand placement and head movement. The large, looping, over-hand rights he taught you were doomed to fail once you fought a fast straight puncher-any good straight puncher. Your "olympic" boxing coach must also be condemned for not properly adressing the issues of Hacks flawed system in regards to striking defense. Hackleman and your team helped facilitate the loss of your mystique-no 205er in the UFC fears you any longer- The Pit is where all the answers to the questions concerning the decline of your abilities and health can be answered. Your recent knockout losses were 18 years in the making. For the sake of your health, its sad to say, because it was your coaching that ended your career but, Retire. -

Hi Chuck,
It was great to see you back in the octagon against Rich Franklin. You proved that you still belong in the UFC. I'm tired of hearing people say that you should retire. Franklin got a lucky shot on you at the end of the round. Everyone knows that can happen to anyone. You have more loyal fans than any other fighter; this is because you are the most exciting fighter to watch in the UFC. You can still contend with any of the light heavyweights.....and beat any of them on any given day. We look forward to seeing you again in the UFC. Best of luck. -

Chuck,
I know the loss on saturday was devistating but i really hope you don't retire. I have seen an interview with Dana about you don't have a choice you are done and i hope this isn't true. first of all i don't like Dana and I know you guys are friends but after the way you looked saturday there is no way you can retire. You looked awesome! Anytime I watch anything that has to do with the UFC they reference you in some way. You are the greatest and I would hate to see you go. I have to say in my opinion the UFC would lose alot of money if you retire. You are the only fighter that I buy the ppv every time you fight. I really hope the rumors aren't true and you still fight.
You are the man!

Hi Chuck
I am aware that you are visiting the UK shortly, we were wondering if you would be available to do a seminar with us, we recently had Royce Gracie over and it was excellent.

Hey Chuck,
You are truly an amazing character, and that is why you will never be forgotten in MMA. A legend is not always remembered for their victories but how they did battle. You're performance last night was spectacular! By which I mean you gave a great battle. Your skills have never dwindled in my eyes; you continued to progress and become a more complete fighter. You remained competitive and very able of victory in fights to this day; proof showed last night to that fact. I really enjoyed you incorporating more kickboxing in this fight and your body and leg kicks looked really impressive. That was ing crazy when you broke Franklin's! And to go out guns-blazin, leaving everything on the battle field like in 300, thats honorable. Nothing like that is ever forgotten.
You represent the things in MMA that make it as incredible as it is and I hope will never be lost. The passion, to enter such dangerous competition with such willingness and joy as if you were most at peace at time of war. The vulnerability, as should every human being should feel in order to learn and practice humility; you put your whole self out on the line to judged on 3-5 rounds of hitting someone!
Your kind will always be remembered. And if it happens that you do not choose to fight anymore, your character (what made you and mma successful) will always be valued and so will your career in any career you choose.
Congratulations on your success,
a fan
